I wish I had known then what I know now.

I wish I had known then what I know now.

Raising my kids with ADHD was deeply challenging and I often felt alone and hopeless. What I learned – through decades of trial and error, research, and hundreds of conversations – is that when we finally learn to trust ourselves and shut out all the noise in favor of a few simple truths, we can be free to connect with our child in new and profound ways. This raises children with confidence and courage.
We ultimately raised our kids to be self-assured, loving, successful adults. Sam just married the love of his life. He and Alex were just voted onto Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for the business they started in their early twenties. The road was not smooth, but my journey with them has gifted me the opportunity to help other families raising amazing kids with ADHD.
“I was very fortunate to work with Shelley during a difficult period for me. It was incredibly easy to open up to her. Trust was immediate, which has never been easy for me. Shelley will never tell you what to do, but will guide you to put a voice to your own needs and help you define your own skills. Her support, knowledge and empathy has always - and will always - be invaluable to me. Shelley will be a source of solace to all who come in contact with her.”

“Shelley is a compassionate, honest, caring coach. During our sessions, she provided space to trust the process and open up. She asked very simple, thought-provoking questions that helped me see my blind spots and opened my mind to new possibilities. She was extremely intuitive and gentle which created the support I needed to come up with new solutions. Shelley will be a source of solace to all who come in contact with her.”
